ALERT – Our drinking water is safe to drink and use. Emergency personnel have been stationed at water supply facilities since Hurricane Harvey arrived, are monitoring water quality and keeping equipment up and running during this extreme storm event. The Harris County MUD No. 71 water system experienced a service interruption this morning due to Centerpoint Energy electrical power failure at our main water supply facility around 7 AM resulting in low water pressure for a brief period. The problem has been corrected and you may have air in your water or discoloration. If this occurs, please run the water a few minutes and it should clear out. If it does not clear out, please call Regional Water at 281-897-9100, press option 3 and we will dispatch a technician to provide assistance.
