Harris County Precinct 4 Updates

The Harris County MUD No. 71 Board of Directors was pleased to welcome Maida Guillen, with Harris County Precinct 4 Commissioner Lesley Briones’ Office, to our last Board meeting.  Ms. Guillen stated that Commissioner Briones is conducting an ongoing listening tour to hear from residents throughout the precinct, including residents in MUD 71. For more information or to RSVP to one of the events, please visit: https://hcp4.net/listening-tour/.

Ms. Guillen also shared that Precinct 4 has a Community Assistance Department to provide a single phone number and e-mail address for all resident requests.  If you have any questions or would like information regarding Precinct 4 roads, parks, or any other facilities or services, please contact the Precinct 4 Community Assistance Department, at 832-927-4444 (M-F, 8:00 am-5:00 pm), or service@hcp4.net.  For more information, please visit: https://hcp4.net/assistance/.

Outgoing Mail Difficulties

In recent weeks, the MUD 71 Board has received reports that the U.S. Postal Service may no longer be picking up outgoing mail from individual resident mailboxes, even if the flag is properly displayed.

If you normally pay your utility by mail and place the envelope in your mailbox, please be aware that this could result in delayed receipt of utility bill payments.

MUD 71 has partnered with First Billing Services to offer a variety of telephone and electronic payment options to help make paying your bill quicker and easier.  For more information, please visit: https://hcmud71.com/electronic-payment-options.
